Has anyone here heard of the Crud-Thug? Its an airtool made by Snap-On and its got this giant rubber wheel, basically looks like a giant rubber eraser and it takes decals off cars in seconds, once they're off all you gotta do is wax the area and its done,I used to work at a shop so I had easy access to one, so if you know someone who works at a shop and has the Snap-On dude rolling around you might be able to borrow one if you're too lazy to do the whole blowdry and peeling....here it is, and then look at the rubber attachment on the right side... http://www.snapon.com/International/.../pt280thug.pdf

I did mine within 10 minutes.
Step 1: Bust out your pressure washer.
Step 2: Use high pressure head and spray decals away.
Step 3: Spray Goo Gone onto where decals were.
Step 4: Grab a beverage of your choice (mine was Blue Moon) and wait 5 min.
Step 5: Grab a rag and go rub off all the left over decal residue.
Step 6: Grab another beverage of your choice (once again Blue Moon).
Step 7: Use some car wash soap and wash car.
Step 8-10: Grab the rest of your beverage package and sit back and relax.
Hope this was usefull.

That sticker never sat well with me from the first day I saw it on the car in the dealership, it came off the second my Si got home from the dealer, peeled off easily once it got started, and with a quick wax of the area that was history...I can say it lasted a bit longer than the dealer plate borders, which were promptly removed and discarded in their garbage the moment I was handed the keys

just did mine today. ive had the car for almost a month now. use the hairdryer for about 20 seconds at an angle. i didnt want to mess up the paint in any way by leaving it on for too long. then i just peeled them both off. they fell apart sometimes, but after i got it all off i just used a little bit of isopropal alcohol to get rid of any "goo". then i just did a quick wash over the area, sprayed on some quick detail and called it a day.

I took mine off a week or two ago. I found it impossible without a blow dryer. I spent at least an hour trying to peel it off with goo-gone..... nothing. As soon as I hit it with a blow dryer for a min or two on high heat, it peeled right off, then I just whiped the crap away with some force. Id use a old towel to wipe it off. I used my fingers alone with the goo-gone and it came off really fast, but I had blisters all over my hand after words from the heat of the car + the fiction heat of rubbing it off.

if it aint broke, don't fix it

rice --> r.i.c.e. --> race inspired cosmetic exteriors. since this is a cosmetic difference located on the exterior vehicle and it is race inpired i think its safe to say that it is more rice with it on. the si badge should be proof enough, no need for some wack looking, unnecessary sticker slapped on the side of my car

Nice thing about it.. It's a sticker.. It comes off. And I'm sure somewhere I saw replacements in any color you can imagine if you decided you really needed to let the world know on both sides of you that you have DOHC and V-tec.

Infact, It's making me considering de-badging my Si logo's also front and rear. If I had 300 ponies to play in the same sand-box with Rex's and Sti's etc, I'd be ok with a little pretentious "yeah it's the sporty model".

However, while it's got a svelte 197hp and even svelte-er 130ft lbs, I just don't see the need for sporty logo's on a 2L normally aspirated, 2wd 4-banger.

Still love it though, if I can keep the wheels aligned. Don't do bumpy roads if you can help it.
