Why don't people do it a different way if they decide to just break off the prongs on the front emblem. What you do is; after the prongs are gone, keep the plastic backing on it and line it up where you want it and use painter's tape (a couple strips to hold it where you want it. Flip it up, and peel the backing off. Now just bring it back down where it was in the first place and it should sit just right. Bingo.

It's a method used to do stickers, vinyl, etc. We use it in the aircraft industry for such things such as laying out the escape hatch walkway.

Your 4dr one worked just as well as the 2dr.

I found breaking the front emblem off was allot easier then taking off the whole grill. Just remember to break off from the inside so you don't mess up your paint. I used a flat head screwdriver and it came off easily.

Other then that it was quite simple. thanks! heres some pics of my fiji

honestly, the only way i can tell you it'll be semi-cheap is if some1 is parting out their car or want to sell their setup. otherwise its easily 40-50 bucks apiece.

sorry... these badges just aren't coming down in price. too hot of an item in the market i suppose. hahah kinda like gas. *rolls eyes* DAAAMNITT!!!

i dont know 100% the answer to that question... sorry

however i do know that since RSX's are ACURAS, not HONDAS... they likely got their badging off a HONDA Integra Type-R from either Japan, Europe, or Austrailia. but i still dunno much about their sizing difference if any from ours.

This takes way more effort than it looks... I need to install the back then the front.. watching the OEM front go was painful

just gotta have faith homie. you'll get it. btw, this applies to SEDAN specifically, so if you have a COUPE, there might be slight differences.

either way i hope it leads you in the right direction & good luck on the rest of your install.

i just ordered mine.. and i was wondering if this method would work.. i did it on my old Acura EL to take off the stock emblems..

use a hair dryer to soften the glue under the emblem.. use floss to slowly separate the stock emblem.. use the dryer as much as possible to melt the glue.. and eventually the emblem will pop off once the floss goes through all the way.

i know this works for the back... but the front looks harder!!

do u just put a blade between the emblem and the black plastic and kinda pry upward and grab it with pliers and pull till it breaks?
