when in doubt, break it off....... so much easier & if you're replacing it with something, there's no point in removing properly.

PUUUUUURELY my opinion only. to each his or her own, naturally...

Seriously, if you don't ever want to go back stock, give a good almighty yank and have done with it!

I have a tendency to inject heartache and pain into most of my projects. I have a martyr complex.

The Si badge is indeed screwed into the grille. My pics don't show this, but if I remember correctly, you should be able to reach it without removing the grille. I think it's two Phillips head screws.

Yeah^, thats all I wanna know. I just wanna get far enough with the grille to be able to reach back there and take off the "Si" badge. I don't need to take EVERYTHING off. I just wanna take whatever I can off that'll allow me to reach decently back there to unscrew the "Si" badge. I was just hoping that the FRONT "H" badge wasn't screwed on. But I guess it isn't cause you guys are just pulling them off easily!. < and it's because of THAT, that I don't need to take the WHOLE grille off to get to the "H" badge aswell. Just the "Si" badge.

Are the coupe and sedan Si's front "H" badge the same to just "pull out" like that or is one of them actually screwed on?

They are both attached by plastic posts from the emblem held to the back by pressure washers.

The careful application of a screwdriver under the badge at the widest part of the H should break them loose without destroying the H. Slip in and twist. Even removing the whole grille, I still broke the posts off mine.

Will be doing this in the near future. The only thing I worry about is theft of the JDM badges.

Yeah definately... So to the O, you just taped them on right? Is that pretty much the only way to do it?

I'm not the OP, I know, but the rear emblem I got from jdmland had a solid patch of adhesive on the back. It's not coming off easy.

That was a reorder. I messed up my first rear emblem and had to remove it. It also had a solid patch of foam adhesive. It took a long time to cut through the sticky and I still broke it getting it off.

As for the front emblem, I posted some pics of how you can use the posts which don't fit the factory holes to fasten it to the grille by drilling new holes. That one isn't coming off in one piece either.

its tough too pull out the grill and try to lose the screws. it was worth it anyways. but wish i could had cut the front emblem into three and just pull it out. saved me a lot of time and some scratches on my arm too. but good DIY. thanks
