if you dont have primer just make sure that you sand the caliper good so that the paint has something to stick to...

I'm thinking of red/or black with silver/chrome letters:
via print out stencil of the HONDA logo to painters tape.
print off logo
transfer to tape
cut out with exacto knife
clean/sand/polish calipers
apply logo (ie painters tape)
paint calipers
remove logo

result should equal a completely heat resistant Honda logo on the caliper.
plus I can scale the logo to fit the rear calipers.
all in theory we'll see how it works.

Jack

Where did you get the 2nd jack from?
Do you suggest doing one tire at a time or two?

Thanks for the DIY! I purchased the paint on eBay and spent yesterday doing this and couldn't be happier with it! I am glad I picked the black paint with the silver decals. What do you guys think? Thanks again!

I got it off of eBay. It came out looking pretty good but I had to cut it down to make it fit even though they said it was for an 08 civic coupe. If you type in cvic grill 08 on eBay you can find them.

I am painting mine black with red Honda decals. I did not want to get with a red paint bc it might not match the HFP brake kit.
