I need a full body kit for my FA5. Should I avoid the HFP solution? I do not trust the EBay guys and I would like to have the parts painted by Honda.

The reason is that my rear passanger door was scraped at a parking lot. The worst part is the area just behind the door. I was quoted $1,600 to have it fixed!

So I had a sohp clean up the areas and sprayed them to keep the salt away. I am thinking of adding the HFP kit to cover the damage and then only have the door fixed. I will save money AND have an new car part!

I'll get some pics...

Is there any bare metal showing? If there is, you better take car of it as it will be rust later on.

OK. So I am thinking the HFP kit will cover the area between the door and the wheel. I will have the body shop fix the door...

What do you think?

To be honest, I can't see anything. Only thing that looks like a defect isn't even where the kit would go. It's tough to see anything in the pic. If you could, circle the area that has something wrong with it.

Here is another. Look at the area behind the door and before the wheel. The metal is pushed in. Do you think the HFP kit will cover it?

It will cover it, but won't make it even.

Any one ever taken the front lip off after having it installed?I was thinking about having it painted but I was sure how difficult it was to take off then put back on.
