not sure. haven't seen the 09 tsx yet. if it's anything like it was back then it should fit.

so do we know if the USDM and JDM trunks line up with the USDM and JDM rear bumpers the same?

I.E> if you put a JDM CTR rear bumper on, do you HAVE to change the trunk?

it looks very similar, the only place that meets is at the bottom, the rear quarter panels are obviously the same

Ive read the whole thread and cant find an answer. Is there a difference between the csx front end and the type r front end? I noticed the csx hood has an accent line. Are the bumpers and headlights the same though?

also, what does CTR mean?

1. JDM has clear corners and CDM has amber (i prefer the amber since stock USDM had amber)
2. JDM has flat hood + bumper ... CDM has accent line running down the middle of hood + bumper (i prefer the line to five it a lil edginess)
everything else is the same.

where headlights are concerned .... there's the HID version(non projector though) + a regular halogen version ...
HID version costs 1000 per headlight and that's just the headlight only ..
Halogen version has the most impressive cut off that i've never seen on any halogen based headlight so IMO u can get that and use a good plug + play kit... u won't be disappointed.

CTR front is different ... so one can go that route ...
the fenders are 5mm wider
the bumper has a more agressive look to it ...
u'd be trading off the foglights in it's current position for some small fogs that fit on the bumper itself
the lip will be different ...

i preferred this one (regular civic front) + mugen lip + fogs for my daily beater ...

happy modding

Does anyone know if they changed anything on the 09 FA5's that would prevent me from doing this?

So I've got a place to buy the parts... except the mugen pieces, but I cant figure out if I need the support elements to the bumper cover or if my existing parts will work... Does anyone know?

Also, Anyone maybe know if the guts in my current headlisghts will work on the CSX lenses or do I need to order all the guts as well?

As far as I remember you will need both headlight mounting brackets to make it fit properly.

Your lights should swap right over.I do believe the CSX headlight has an extra socket, possibly for the running light but just a guess.

The Canadian guys wont give me part numbers nor do they have a place like hondapartscheap where you can see the exploded views, but I do believe you have to use two extra bulbs for "city" lights from the pictures I have found. So I am thinking I likely need at least those parts, if they come separate.

So far I have found that shipping from Canada is bloody crazy! I'm trying to find a company that will drive the parts over to Washington from Vancouver and then I can use my shipping account to have them freighted here as I imagine that will be FAR less money.

What about the rear? Do you only need trunk lid and tail lights? Would the stock bumper fit? Let me know. I'm interested. thanks.
