Question

Has anyone tried using Kylon Fusion spray paint, the kind that is supposed to work well on plastics? I am gonna try this plug technique and am debating using touch up honda paint or spray can paint.

That sounds huge (~ 9mm dia), the plug I used had a diameter of about 1 mm.

this makes me just want to leave my plate on the front. as nice and cheap as the diy is, i think it kinda looks worse then the plate. it shows that there was a hole there. but thats just me.

i really dont mind the license plate there... it doubles as a shock absorber for the terrible parallel parkers in new york who think your bumper is there to tell them how much space they have to park!! works for me

I just "plugged my hole" yesterday. lol I went to Home Depot but they looked at me like an alien when I asked about "plastic push in fastener." They kept taking me to dry wall anchors.... ha ha so I went to Pepboys and found a plastic underbody pin that worked perfectly. pack of 5 for $1.99 and then got Honda SSM paint which matched perfectly. I had to drill out the hole a bit, then painted the top with 4 coats waiting 30min between each coat. Ill post pics soon when I get a chance.
