I did it to my Murano after a year. Just clean and wax and the outline will disappear

Sorry I just took this pic with bad lighting in my garage like 5 mins ago.
Just took mine offf in about 15 min. Only took that long bc I kept breaking the damn floss!! Where'd you get the "i-VTEC" emblem from?

It's funny. You can tell the car enthusiasts apart from others. One guy said, "Stealthed out your civic. I didn't know what it was initially till I saw the SI. The body kit makes it look much more different than stock!"

Another guy commented, "Is that a new Honda model, your I-Vtec?"

Thanks for the heads up. I just did it today and it didn't leave an imprint at all. I used gasoline though to get rid of the adhesive and that worked a lot better then the alcohol. A little polish and I was good to go thanks for the DIY.

I'm thinking of doing the same. How do you plan to glue/mount the badge onto the front grill?
I've considered some sort of glue, but the heat will melt the glue.

I just did mine today, all I did was go to Home Depot and got some flat hinges in the door section (6") and double sided taped it to the two posts that are in the front grill

I would like to 2nd, 3rd... n the "just pull it off". Mine was out in the sun here in So CA, about 80F outside. Just pulled it off then picked off the adhesive with my fingers. Now waxing the back will be much less of a pain! After I clean it up and wax it I'll have pics on my site for those of you with EX sedans that wanna see what it looks like. Or if I figure how to post up here...

OK, here is my 2007 EX Sedan with no Civic badge. And just to be silly the 235s on 17x8@43mm tires on the rear. They actually fit, and weigh less than stock, I was surprised but I didn't drive anywhere.

I did this about two weeks ago at the same time I took off my Vtec stickers. I have never been a fan of stickers on a car. Except when I was driving an '84 Buick LeSabre and teh stickers were the only thing holding it together. If you pulled off the Fugazi sticker the car would have imploded.

I used floss and the Civic emblem came right off. I just peeled off the adhesive with my fingers and waxed over the spot. Looks nice!

if you buy a new badge the adhesive comes with it but you can buy it at any autoparts store.
