DIY jdm emblems

i did a search on this and couldn't find anything so i did it myself hope this helps someone.

(1)first take off the tabs holding plastic part to grill

(2)once you have that out of the way you will need to unscrew these bolts
one on each side.

(3)next you will have to pull back on the grill just enough to get a small screwdriver inside and undo screws,i wasn't able to get a pic of all the screws but once you start taking them off you will see the ones that need to come off

(4)once you get all the screws undone their are two tabs press on them and grill should slide right out

(5)next on back side of grill they have two screws holding on old emblem unscrew these and emblem will come off

(6)next take off film on new emblem, line up ,and stick on front off grill

(7) now just put everything back on the way you took it off and that's it for the front.

(8)now for the back start by opening trunk and find the two little white tabs that are holding emblem on

(9) press them and push, emblem should come right off.

(10) next clean off where old emblem was on outside of trunk, cut the tabs on new emblem becuase they won't line up, center new emblem on trunk peel off film and stick

(11) and that's it, this is what you should end up with.

macro mode means you can take a focused (not blurry) shot when your taking close up shots.. look for a little flower icon on your camera and press that.. try taking a shot from like.. 10 inches away n see the magic =P

Have any of you guys had a problem with the rear emblem peeling off due to weather or car washes etc. Just curious thanks for the DIY on the emblems.

I just stuck a flat head screw driver underneath the stock logo on the front grill and broke it off.. it's only plastic and breaks with little to no stress.. you will need a dremel tool to cut away the tabs left from the stock emblem.. then just peel and stick.. 5min job tops!
