DIY jdm emblems - Page 6

Nice DIY...now I just got to get the emblems...

Thanks for the DIY. It really helped. I'm going to suggest a couple of things to make the attempt easier. 1 - Buy an "offset" phillips screwdriver to get the screws holding the grill on. 2 - There are a lot more screws in the grill than you initially think. I spotted 4 at first, but I think you end up pulling out about 9 screws before you can pull the grill out. 3 - My magnetic wand came in handy about 4 times to pull screws or screwdrivers that we dropped down the gap in front of the radiator. Here's a couple of before and after shots. I like it a lot better. I think the H's match the Si better and make the car look slightly more sporty. I always thought the H looked a little out of place.

Sorry, they're already cut down to about 1/4 of their original size. I don't have the time or tools to do it at work, but I'll do it sometime tomorrow. They did come out a big large... lol

Do the "Si" emblems fit on all coupes? Or just Si's? The Si's grill is different, isn't it?

can't edit posts in DIY forum. what i just said ^^^ is wrong. open mouth, insert keyboard... anyway, the Si emblem will only fit on the Si grille. there is a mounting spot on the Si grille for the Si badge when it comes from the factory. the fg1 grille does not have this and they are designed differently. sorry for any confusion...

i don't think they make them cause i know a few other guys were looking for them.you can buy the red ones and get some one to paint them to look like this
