adding something I thought would be helpful..

These emblems are very nice and expensive and come with only two really flimsy lines of double sided tape. Anyone may try to remove them while you leave your car unatended. The Home Depot or Lowes has 3M double sided tape on their paint dpt. This tape is 4 times wider, twice as thicker and has way stronger adhesive material than what the emblems bring.

With this tape, unless you break the emblems, there's no way they are coming off..just my .2cents..

For the rear emblem how did guys push the white tabs out. As far as I looked it was a very tight squeeze. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Again, I ask, what is everyone using to fill the holes in the trunk from the OEM emblem??? I used silicone to seal them myself...

I have three questions.

1.) What should I use to 'plug' the holes in my trunk?

2.) If I use the 3M tape and someone breaks my emblem off, how would I take the rest of the emblem and adhesive tape off?

3.) Are there any wear or fitment issues from weather or car washing?

Thanks. I just got my emblems and will probably install this Sunday.

Thanks. I just got my emblems and will probably install this Sunday.

1.)I used a glob of silicone to fill each hole. (can be removed easily enough if you want to put your OEM emblem back on)

2.)If someone breaks your emblem off the whole things going and there's adhesive removers to get the rest of the adhesive off.

3.) Mine has been on all winter and has seen many car washes so I don't think it's going to wear. Keep in mind, it's plastic. The front emblem fits perfect in the grille and the rear is slightly smaller with no fitment issues either.

hope this helps. g/l with the install. post up some pics when it's all done.
