GOT IT DONE! YAYUH! mostly it was due to not enough lighting, could not see all the screws. But yes you definitely gotta pull hard on the bumper LOL. The front was quite easy to install. The back, however was a toughie, couldnt get my hands in there in the back of the trunk to push the tabs out from the back. So i was forced to carefully slide a knife from the back n try n take it out that way..i lifted it up the emblem a lil bit with my finger tip and slide the knife in carefully to make sure not to scratch the paint. There was already adhesive in the back so it left some mark, i didnt have any rubbing alcohol so right now there are lil mark...hopefully with wash and wax, it'll come off. But everything looks perfect! IT WAS A PERFECT INSTALL! I got the emblems from Z1Auto for 93 shipped...Excellent product and service! DEFINITELY WOULD DO BUSINESS AGAIN! I wont post up the pics just for the emblems, just about majority people on this forum has these emblems so nothing special. Will post more pics when my emblem for steering wheels come or wait till my next big mod. Perhaps X's intake

I did this mod this weekend.
Here's a couple of things I didn't see in the DIY that might help some people: 1) If you're going to take the front grill off without taking the bumper off, you're going to need a stubby phillips screwdriver or you might find yourself pulling your hair out. I ended up having to use a phillips bit, tape (to keep the bit inside the socket), and a socket. It was a pain, all because I didn't have a stubby. 2) On the back emblem for a coupe, you don't need to mess with the white tabs in the trunk. They are very hard to get to with pliers. It is much easier to use a piece of dental floss to cut the adhesive on the top and bottom part of the emblem from the outside and simply pull the emblem off. The white tabed pegs are not actually part of the emblem. The emblem has pegs that fit inside the white tabbed pegs and expand them into the holes. If you cut the adhesive, you can get the emblem off and then deal with the white pegs much more easily. You will have to cut the pegs off of your JDM emblem for it to fit, so I just stuffed the cut off pegs from the JDM emblem into the stock white pegs with the rubber seal to fill the holes and installed the JDM emblem over the top. That way I won't have to worry about water getting into the trunk. |

^ SWEET MAN THANK! I have been thinking of doing this mod some time down the road and I'll take as much advice and tips as I can.
I mostly wanna take off the "Si" badge off from the front grille to finalize the concealment of it being and "Si" since i've already taken off the rest of the badges and stickers. |

except for the part where you don't have the right tools and you end up tearing your hand up against your radiator in your cold garage. I don't think I can possibly explain how frustrating I found this install simply because I was missing one screwdriver. I would rather install my IMG AGAIN than do this. but it looks good. |

![]() I tried to push it out but no luck... I can see it coming out a bit but is their anyway to do this without break the tabs? Im trying to spray paint my emblems black or gray to match my galaxy grey metallic body paint, i dont think red would match well and i dont want to spend that much money for emblems... |

I know where you're coming from shooter.... that was a PAIN IN THE ASS as well... okay, so my install went something like this- I didn't have the right screwdriver, so I was using a drill extension that fits different bits/drivers in it. unfortunately, they weren't the RIGHT set, so they kept falling out and landing on plastic weather guard below the radiator. I would use my magnetic pickup to retrieve one, and it would happen again. and again. again again. I was getting incredibly frustrated, and it was COLD in my garage. .... not really that bad. I'd do it again... |
