Relocate your Front plate for $2

So i was looking at front plate relocators... PWJDM wants $60, thats ridiculous

run down to home depot, they sell strips of sheet metal for $1.98 pick yourself up one of those, and 2 bolts

if you don't know what nuts n bolts are... Don't keep reading lol

cut the sheet in half and bend it... i put it on the floor, put my foot on half of it, and lift the other half

bolt the plate to the metal

and bolt use 2 short screws put it on ur bumper

some snow slid off my car and bent the plate down, so maybe get some stronger steel and stronger plates.. id didnt rip off but bent

how it looks

how it should

not bad, but if your gonna do mods for cheap, atleast do them with a littel better quality.

that metal looks like it will bend form the force of the wind when your driving.

get some thicker aluminum, put it in a vice and hammer it to bend 90 degrees.
MetalsDepotŪ - 6061-T6 Aluminum Flat Bar
id say that 1/8" x 1" would be prefect.

Nice, I picked up angle brackets for 12 cents each to do the same thing (without bending and cutting). They're 5mm thick and won't bend with the force of the wind. If I find them , I'll post pics, if not, I'll go get some more... was going to do that before the first snow. Now it's jsut a little too cold and snowy out.

Nice Diy!
