Thank you! i haven't tried it, but last night that creaking was getting more and more annoying. And that's on a virutally brand new car. Gotta give this a shot.

Oddly enough, I never had this issue till Yodums asked me if I had experienced it. A few days later I started to notice the creaking noises. I'm glad there is a DIY!

Dude, you don't need this exact product. You can buy silicon at any automotive parts store on the continent!

Has this actually worked for anyone other then the OP?

Everyone keeps saying, "great DIY" and "+rep"... yet no one has posted any results.

A bit of free advice...this does work. However, the mess it makes it nuts...the silicone attracts dust like a MF'er and it's hard as hell to apply the stuff to the seal without getting it on the paint or the glass and it's hard as hell to clean off. My trying it in the past tells me it's not worth it.

you have to apply it very carefully and wipe of the excess.....you can't leave all the extra stuff on there or it will attract dust....you have to remember you car is always flexing and bending as you go down the road it will come back you just have to keep cleaning it....you have to wait till all the pollen has stopped being dropped or it will get noisey again....

I dunno if this would help me or not. I've traced the noise to somewhere in the tracking of the sunroof, as if something is not tight and rattles when going over bumps.

If I press on the liner right behind my head, if silences it.
