If your just doing a normal flip, you use the hardware that comes with it.

I did this to my sedan this morning...and after about 1 hour of dremel-ing the license plate frame, it fits and works perfectly without having to go to homedepot. BRILLIANT! Now maybe those pesky rocks will bounce off my license plate rather than my AC Condenser....curse!

I'm pissed off about that myself.

Not only do I have the middle hole, but i have 2 more on each side from the plate bolts.

They could have used shorter bolts, because the 2 are just used to hold the plate to the bracket.

i wish i could

but now that i think about it, it might have been a repair shop that did it. because i had an accident last summer and received a whole new front end.

i think after a few more cross country road trips and bug/rock splats on my bumper, i'll order a brand new oem one . (Special instructions : Do Not Install Front Plate!)

Then again I just realized that this will be my new mindset when buying any new car in the future .(DO NOT INSTALL FRONT PLATE, REAR PLATE, DEALER STICKERS, ANY OTHER BS)

Does anyone know if this will work if I have the HFP front skirt installed? I tired to put the plate frame in the position where it should go and it rubs against the front skirt. I didn't want to start cutting the frame if this would not work for me. Thanks!
