So i just tried to do the flip of the license plate on my si coupe and the dealer screwed the bracket in to the bumper where they shouldnt have. Has anyone had this problem. Do u think i would have any luck complaining to the dealership about this?

No.

They're actually supposed to put that extra bolt in there. It just so happens that some people (like myself) did not have that bolt in there.

Ive heard of people plugging the hole but id far rather just leave the plate be if that was the case.

alright, i simply went to my local Auto Zone, spent three bucks on Silver Spray Paint, and a dollar on a little plug.

It cleans it up much better IMO rather than just a hole..

PLEASE LET ME KNOW WHAT YA THINK!

I had to do the same in my car, except I got the Honda paint, which matches the color exact but has brush strokes and doesn't go on as smooth as spray.

"Brackets? Drilling? Really? Just "flip and zip." Once you take off the plate, you can see how the mount will still fit in the grill. The holes, are one slat off though. So, just use zip ties through both sets of holes, and one below. Pull them tight, and it'll be snug. Worked for me.

seem kinda like a pimple. take some pics from farther away, and then we can see if it is still noticeable. otherwise, its not a bad fix for the hole.

I did the flip a little while ago. EASSSSSSY mod. Looks 100% better. My friend did it too but he found a hole in his bumper which sucks.

I like that people think its funny to put up a pic of a car with no front plate and call that a creative solution. It's time to take your comedy to the stage, because that is pure talent. Gee, thanks guys!

not sure what that means?

i think people are just demostrating what they prefer? not a matter of being creative.. if anything its just a preference how someone would rather have there car look? sorry, i am not trying to argue any persons statment? just did not understand what that meant...

thanks...

i think what he meant was that this is a thread to help people to flip their license plate to make the car look better and STAY LEGAL. but people come on here to flame and say "just take it off. thats what i did."

thats just what i think he meant. haha
