I did this on my sedan and cutting it just didnt work. I had to go around the dealership and find some longer bolts. Looks great. Great mod. Just didnt work out totally with normal bolts.

jus did it. great mod, unfourtuneately the dealer did drill one holl in the bumper, for a screw tho so its small, i filled it in with a peice of the shavings.. you cant even tell.. jus a temproary fix. i also grabbed a smoked license plate cover for $5 nd put that on too.... will have to take pics tomm. i think it looks damn sexy.

Hmm I'm having this problem too but on my coupe. I wonder if it's because I have the HFP front lip installed. The bolts that attach it to the grill seem to be too short.

Yeah, the bolts are too short for the sedans. You'll need longer bolts. I figured this out yesterday.
