this is very true, i ended up getting it in, and everything is good even today, except for the fact that the popper pops and doesnt open the trunk! im actually working on it right now, thats why i came back to check on this thread. oh yah, and if any knowledgeable person is around i was wondering, with one hit of the remote should all doors open or just the front two, or what? oh btw i got a 07 lx sedan...

i want to do this as well on my ex....

so how can the remote be programmed to open the trunk on the 2nd click only.

Like 1 push = drivers door
2 taps of remote = trunk + all doors (could probably tap into the rear door power lock solenoids.

OR can the remote be reprogrammed ????

I dont have any issues with the solenoid/relay issue since im a headlight retrofitter.... i can try to help out...

The 12v ignition is an inhibitor line to the relay to prevent the solenoid from working when the car is running, ie when the car is running. Bcs thats another issue with my civic, stupid doors dont unlock when the car turns off or when u pull on the handle, is there a way to change that too??? Like the driver door opens but the others have to manually move the tab and pull the handle or use power locks to unlock all doors which would suck with this trunk thing,, it would alyways open the trunk.

i dont get the whole 2 plug part.... so what wires do you tap into from plug M and N??? I already have the back taken care of with an acura TL assembly that i had laying around, its a pretty easy bolt up.

But for the remote, how do you program it to open all doors on 1st click and just the trunk on the 2nd?

I just dont see why it needs connections from M and N, is it like a remote signal and in car signal??? I would only want remote control over the trunk, i dont care about the interior.

I want to wire it up like ur description, i just need more exact details since i dont want to mess up a car that is 2 weeks OLD LOL.

From what i saw in your pics which are very general, yellow wire means nothing, pin number or at least count on the plug would be a lot more appropriate. I just noticed that you plugged into the all doors unlock and relayed it so that it would not work when the key is in the ignition (2) from the interior button.

Please tell us what pins you used from plug M and N... maybe a simple paint schematic of the plugs...

Thanks in advance.

Will installing the trunk pop kit conflict with the DEI 530t?

Will it coincide with each other?

I'm still lost. Would this work for a US 06 lx sedan, and with the oem key/alarm?
