Thank you. Thanks for the find again. i was going to try some rubber ones I have they are a little bit bigger but thought they would just compress. I will also verify that this does help cooling. I got out of the car and felt at the top of the hood after some driving around and all the hot air was coming out.

i was going to mention that the factory bolts use some sort of tar looking stuff. not sure what it is.

a good experimient is if anyone has a heat gun that gets pretty hot and a temperature gun as well so they can see when it starts to melt

Lol. IDk. I dotn have a Temperature gun or anything or I would check. I will try and google it though.haha. I am guessing a couple hundred degrees but I dont think it excedes 400.

i was curious because you could use an oven to test the melting point.....that is if the engine bay does not exceed oven operating temperature......no?

i'll see what i can do.....supposed to go help nacho do this....might pick up an extra one, or maybe even a couple extra sets. someone might want them in the future. i'll sell the kit for $35.

I am thinking of doing mine in red since I remembered I have some brake caliper paint left from my wheels and that is high temp as well.
