won't do much for the cai, would still help with heat. dig out $3.57 from the change jar and do a little mod today. give it a try and see if you like it.

whatever floats your boat man, to each his own. yes i have the tools. always carry them in my car...the 10mm and a screwdriver. we could do it in the home depot parking lot. which one you closest to? i'm up in poway. there are 3 fairly close by. but you want to meet up somewhere by hooters? where is the closest one to it?

There are two by here. One is by the 15 and the 8. The other is by the 8 and the 5. which one is better for you?

If you are noticing heat getting towards the spacers do you think High Temp Spray paint for like BBQ grilles will help them not melt? and I am thinking of putting mild grade locktite on the bolts so I have a little bit more comfort on them not falling out. would that be a bad idea?

yeah, i would use some temp. lock tite. don't know about spraying them. couldn't hurt. but i don't think these things are going to melt. a good way for me to find out will be my vegas road trip in a couple weeks.

I just did this and sprayed the High Temp black spray paint for BBQ grilles. all toghether I spent 3.25. haha. I already had washers thanks to my Gopeds. invisible rep to you and good find. i felt hot air already coming out of the bay after i was done.
