here you go ig.....

go to home depot and go to the hardware section. they should have a "specialty hardware" drawer system.

4 3/8" nylon spacers 1 inch in diameter and 3/8 inner. 4 hex bolts 6mm x 30mm and some washers.....but i would get a washer a little wider than the ones pictured. just because i would like it if mine had slight more surface area....and maybe some of the temporary lock tite.

i'm going to order my custom ones soon. we'll see how that goes.

you can install them yourself.. one side at a time.. just put a rag or somethin under ur hood so it wont crack ur windshield.

yeah. i can help mang. the only thing i would recommend is maybe a breaker bar just to crack the bolts initially.....and after you separate the hood and bracket thing make sure that corner of the hood doesn't touch down and scratch anything....i got a little ding in the plastic cowl for not being ready for the weight of the hood.

i know those spacers look short....a 1/2" would be a little more prime. i think anything much above that would be a little too high or allow a grip of water to enter. only one way to find out. i was going to get some more washers and shim it to see what size i want exactly. but with the 3/8 you get that spacing shown in the picture, which isn't much different than say the corsport kit. i imagine theirs is only about a 1/2" at most....i doubt they are higher, like 5/8 or 3/4.

compared to mine....(for $3.57 )

Looks good for that cost. It's not my cup of tea, but if you like it, it's definitely worth the installment fee.

I know it'll never happen, but I'd love a dyno test in a wind tunnel. The amount you raised your hood (reduction in aerodynamics) vs. the amount of cold air intake (increase in response/hp) would be nice to know.
