hey everyone, has anyone thought of this b4 or done it.
i have a 2006 honda civic lx, i was wondering if it was possible to customize hood strut shocks under my hood, to make it easier to hold the hood open instead of using the STOCK HOOD PROP ROD thats always in the way...
any one got any ideas,,,feel free to msg me...

this is an old trick we used to do on rex's and EG's - except you can just use the bottom bracket and bolt the top plate holes on it. Looks a little like buck teeth - but allowed more air in the dam on the old cars - the new one, moving the plate looks like it'll restrict airflow like others have noted.

california sucks - i've gotten a ticket in downtown SF for no front plate. Cop told me its so the street cameras can ID you - but not all places have cameras everywhere, prob just NY and SF.

you can try to get them to fix it. or get you a new bumper. but most failed at that. they are more likely if you live in an area that doesnt require it.

hahaha, you won't believe this, but I bought the car last week and right after I realized they drilled the hole in my bumper, the phone rang. "Hi, this is Lisa from honda North America, I'm calling to ask you a few questions about your purchase from West Broad Honda in Richmond, VA..." I gave her the full blown HATED THEM. I told her about the hole and that the salesperson, Stan Brown, took the car through the wash before I left and he scratched the wheel and admitted to it. She was honestly pissed. They opened up a case for it all and she said, don't worry, you'll be happy when this is over.
