Just took a look at the factory axle-back and the pipe is significantly larger. It's hard to measure because of its awkward flange. It also bottle necks at the flange so it wouldn't be a good measurement anyway.
So, B-pipe = pea shooter ~2 inches axle-back = what looks like at least 2.25 inches, maybe more ^ID, not OD. This is from a sedan, BTW. |

No its not. Off the mainfold (cat coverter part) is 3.5" at the opening. As it moves down the cat converter towards the B pipe it tapers to 2" at the end of the cat converter section. This width stays the same from there on back.
I made my own testpipe for this car, I know its ends and outs. |
