Nope. Without the HFP rear lip the exhaust will sit flush with bumper. With the HFP rear lip the exhaust will be slightly sunken in (maybe an inch).

The "poking" issue was seen on coupes, not sedans.

A word of advice regarding the install though: Unbolt (or atleast loosen up) the mid-pipe of the Q300. Keep everything loose to get all of the bolts to fit. Once you have everything bolted together loosely, then go ahead and tighten everything up. You probably will not be able to get it installed with everything tight. Just loosen up the mid-pipe to give yourself some wiggle room with the flanges, and you'll be fine.

Weren't you running an Invidia header? If so, why switch to the S2 unit? They should provide similar gains.

I have a second car but its the wifes Mini cooper S and she wants it back says im to ruff with it


i ordered the Invidia and it never shipped after awhile so i cancelled it and bought a used S2 Mega header for $450 locally here in Germany... I currently have a Strupp header but the Flex pipe ripped off so its open Header i took the Q300 completely off and its in the garage. When i took the q300 apart the gasket disenigrated and all but 2 of the bolts snapped in half LOL so i had to get all new gaskets and hardware for that. And i got the Boomba mounts so i dont have to worry about engine moment at the track and strip

Wow, $450 is a good deal for a Megapower. I got mine for $525 shipped back here in the states, and that included the OEM O2 extender. I am using a 3M inject front and rear mount with my set up, and have no banging issues at all.

You will love this combo once you get it installed, trust me on that!

Like I said earlier though, when installed the header and exhaust just get the nuts/bolts started enough that they stay together so that you can line everything up properly. Once you get everything aligned then go ahead and tighten everything up.

Then go enjoy , it sounds soooooooo good!

Do you still have the stock header?

Mine sticks outs kinda far...I have a sedan with no rear lip.

That's pretty much what my car will sound like if I get the q300 - the car in the video has AEM CAI, Megapower header, and Q300, and I find it to sound like a properly built Honda should.

Curious to know if the Q300 is always this loud or does the header have a lot to do with it or is it even just the recording??
