i ordered first week in July, Excelerate told me it would ship about the 21st....so i am just patiently waiting on the delivery truck.

as for the install, i think i am going to try and tackle it on my own....but havent quite decided.

unscrew, add spacer block + o-ring, screw back in.. if you can install the SC, you can do that lol

download the instruction for the install in PDF and read through prior to it so you get a basic understanding without having to read though it 50times on the day

I mean, aren't you supposed to uncharge the system a certain way and then charge it afterwards of course? I thought if you don't uncharge the system completely, it could adversely affect the longevity of your system.

take it to a shop with an ac unit and ask them to discharge it.. then take it back after you're done

I'll have to think about whether or not I want to try it myself. I know it would take me longer than it would take my technician. I'm gonna have to take it to the shop anyways to discharge the system like you said either way though.

Hell i went to go price discharging and recharging the system at a local precision tune, and they only charge me 25 bucks, thats not bad, maybe this is somewhere u can get it done cheap, if there is one in your area.

Wow, I'm gonna have to shop around. Honda said they would charge around 86bucks after I told them I wasn't gonna pay 125.

Excalibur, after reviewing the instructions above, i will determine if this is something i am going to tackle myself, or pay someone else to mess with it. i would like to do it myself to gain experience under the hood of the car, but if it looks too complicated, i am going to take it to a shop. if you dont do it yourself, who are you going to have do the install for you?

I have a guy that just left Honda b/c they woulnd't give him a raise. He's done JRMFG2's and will do mine even though I think I could pull it off myself. I will still be there for the install and will be installing hid's, fit horns, and swapping intakes on the si's. So, I'll be pretty busy while he is. Pm me for price if you're interested. He's here in Converse.
