Do you need the brackets for the Si or is it just for the DX/LX/EX models?

I just installed the Progress rear sway bar and reinforcment brackets! Big difference! I highly recomend the 22mm rear anti-sway bar. Now I'm thinking about putting on my 27mm solid Si sedan front sway bar in place of my stock 25.4mm hollow front bar.

One gripe that I have: The reinforcment brackets werent perfect as in the holes for the allen screws and endlink stud werent in perfect alignment. And I'm pretty sure the Si and non-Si have the same lower control arms. I got it to fit though. It was a pain.

The reinforcment brackets are a PITA to install. Especially if you DRILL a hole in your control arm! It reads drill either a 5/16" hole or a slighlty bigger 11/32" hole.
Go with the bigger one. I only drilled a hole in one control arm, I might do the other one.
Bad enough you might not drill it right, its a b*tch let me tell you!
I'll make a thread soon and post pics.

Reinforcment brackets are not bad to install, BUT IF YOU WANT TO DRILL A HOLE THEN YOU ARE MAKING IT EXTREMELY DIFFICULT FORYOURSELF. I doubt it was just me.

The Progress bar is great though.

MY oem Si rear anti-sway bar is for sale now.

hmmm... I'm interested if anyone else had an alignment issue between the 2 holes in the stock swaybar bracket and our aftermarket piece. Both Greg's and Eric's that we used at the shop were the same.

And the drilling is not easy, and it's made alot easier with a 90 degree drill head, but it can be done with a regular drill too but the drill is at a bit of an angle so you have to be careful and then clean it up afterwards.

Please everyone let me know if the alignment is off on any other installs.

Thanks,
Chris at RedShift

That 90 degree drill head sounds like it would have helped. :/

Andrei'sCivic.... what year and trim is your Civic? You sure you had the RedShift bracket oriented correctly. It only fits in one direction... and not the other.

Is this still going on? I'd like the sway bar and brackets for an 06 Si coupe.
