Well here is a pic. Random has not dynoed this unit yet b/c their local dyno is no longer local. I can't say for certain what the gains are but obviously you can see the different gains from doing a shorty style header and a race header. Although the race header does eliminate the cat, combining a shorty style header with this high flow cat, will probably net similar gains (maybe slightly less) while keeping you emissions compliant.

What kind of "special discount" are we talking about?

Yes it is $375 shipped to the continental US. To Canada it would be another $15. There is 3% for Paypal fees too.

I'd also like to know if by having this on, will you still be able to actually pass emmissions tests?

Yes you will still have a cat. This is just a higher flowing cat than stock.

what size is the piping on the inlet and outlet side? even though there is a small cat is that enough NOT to throw a cel? or should you add a o2 sim just to play it safe? those are my main concerns, to much flow or not enough flow will cause a cel, thanks

I still havn't found the specs on the piece yet, but I'm still looking. Random Tech. cats are supposed to be pretty good. I am planning to do before and after Dyno tests. I'll post up the slips one I do it in a few weeks. The word is that it won't cel. I'm not sure though. I have a Scangauge II that I can use to pull and reset codes just in case. If it end's up throwing a code I'll just do the defouler mod. I figure this is a slightly more legal approach vs a full race header.

The piping inlet is 2 3/4" and the outlet is 2". The cat won't typically throw a CEL but it isn't impossible. If it throws a CEL it will be b/c the converter is flowing much more than stock and the ECU has such tight tolerances for flow that the cat will flow too much for what the ECU wants to see. However, it doesn't typically throw a CEL. If it does you can just use a de fouler which is a $5 piece that basically pushes the secondary 02 sensor, which is there just to see if the cat is working "properly", further from the exhaust stream.
