what mike_si posted is exactly what imma do to mine if pwjdm doesn't fit the nipple issue. it's not that hard of a fix, but i would rather have pwjdm rectify the issue before shipping them out though.

This isn't a bug/glitch/oversight in the product. This was brought to their attention long ago and they acknowledged it on this very forum.

Thank you sir.

I really hope they resolve this issue and make a replacement coupler with the nipple as they stated before or I will be canceling my order today as well. like others, I've been waiting 2 years for this intake to come out

I used Dwn4nythng idea when I tried to make my own air hose. It works perfect. The only thing, I put a little silicone on the inside of the metal inlet (the side that touches hose inside) to to glue it to the silicone hose and let it dry. All you need is :

- 3/8 BRB x 3/8 MPT Barb-MPT Adapter (@ Osh)
- Pin Clip .062" Dia. x1" L (@ Osh)

here is a video he posted. It gives more clear pic how to do it.

Part 2: my intake 3 - Car Videos on StreetFire
where are these links?

PWJDM REP: no its becuase the customer that picked it up.. the one and only customer wanted it regardless finished or not
PWJDM REP: he complained to me he only needed the power chamber.. so i told him we have them half ass done...
PWJDM REP: he said okay.. I will take it...
aimguest52152626: So even though they were suppose to ship at the end of august they're still not done and no one felt the need to tell the customer this?
PWJDM REP: i told the customer it wasn't finished thourly
PWJDM REP: there done basically just a few finishing touches is all
aimguest52152626: basically?
PWJDM REP: but the customer who is blabbing on 8th gen is the one who wanted to take it regardless
PWJDM REP: just need the extra hole drilled is all for the 2nd *nipple...
PWJDM REP: that will only take a day
aimguest52152626: for $480 and repeated delays they better be perfect
PWJDM REP: for 480?! we discounted that thing so cheap your basically getting the battery bracket for free
aimguest52152626: a day? for some reason i'm reluctant to belive you.....all i've heard is delay delay delay
PWJDM REP: how many power chambers have we come out with?
PWJDM REP: almost every single car... how many of them put out power and was a solid product, every one of them
aimguest52152626: why do you think i jumped on the group buy WITHOUT DYNO NUMBERS or really any data other than a picture and an idea
PWJDM REP: trust.. i was the one that has been running it on my si for the last month or so.. very solid product...
aimguest52152626: congrats...But i paid $480 way back at the beginign of august. under the impression that it would be shipped by the end of the month. It's now mid september and i have nothing to show for it. But your telling me the product STILL is not done.
aimguest52152626: All im saying it 8thcivic is blowing up right now. N there really isn't anyone in there giving them accurate information. I already know a few people are trying to cancel their orders. Looks like its tanking fast
PWJDM REP: yeah i know man.. we would love to have it shippd out right away.. but better we get every detail figured out before moving it
aimguest52152626: i suggest someone post on the 8th with some answeres because the rumors are going and people are ready to bail ASAP
PWJDM REP: i am as we speek

For those of you who pre ordered the power chamber, will have them shipping this week for sure! The one customer who insisted on picking up his intake and pushed it, got an intake with out the second hole drilled for the nipple. That thing was half ass put together because he pushed it on us. And looked what happened he got it unfinished. And the whole forum thinks there is going to be missing pieces. Not true.. TWO NIPPLES, WITH TWO HOLES. Mine has been on my car over a month still runs solid, and hopefully here soon we will have a dyno sheet!

Sorry for the confusion about the PCV valve. I was reading up on a Corvette forum and apparently their PCV is connected to the intake somehow. So that doesn't apply to us apparently.

The hose we've been advised by PWJDM to leave hanging is the valve cover vent tube. So a breather filter would be okay here? Would a MAF or MAP based tune be okay? Or only a MAP tune?

Again, sorry for the confusion guys. I'm going to remove the link in my post about the possible PCV issues (post #946).
Only MAP based tuning allows the use of breather filters. I would also like to add that this intake should NOT be used with a stock ECU where the car will be running with the MAF sensor and the stock tune or even with FlashPro if MAF based tuning is used. The sensor will not be able to read the actual amount of air being ingested by the motor because of the much larger diameter of the actual intake tube and because all of the air entering the motor will not be directed across the MAF sensor. This intake should only be used with FlashPro and the MAP/Speed density tuning.

but the maf sensor is at the end of the tube? i see your point, but i don't think it applies with this intake?

I see what you're saying, but this intake has vanes and has been tested by Password. They've posted videos and idle seems good.

Doesn't really matter to me because I'm slapping this on my CT-E stg2 in a few weeks anyways with the FP MAP map.
