lucky mofo! I spent hours cutting mine to fit since I didn't have the right bit and my car was on jackstands so I couldn't drive without lowering it (feeling the car without a rsb might've been cool though) lol.
Anyway, it's on, no weird noises, I'm happy, although I wonder how long I have until the endlink breaks *crosses fingers.* Honestly, I don't feel much of a difference, except with the liftoff oversteer. As far as feeling more "planted"...not so much. *shrugs* |

Okay, so we had radicalDREAMZ (09 Si coupe) car in here today to test out the brackets and it appears that the Si has a new trailing arm. They added a bunch of gussets and for some reason they moved that hole just a tiny bit. I don't know if this is going to supercede the old part number and go on all new Civics or if it's just for the Si but we will be slotting that bracket in the future so it will fit on all of the cars.
For now we're asking those of you that have the bracket with misaligned holes to just open that hole up with a drill. With the right tools it's about 5 minutes of work. If you have any questions the best way to get ahold of me is info@progressauto.com. -Joey |

What would be considered the "right tools"? Haven't gotten around to installing mine yet, but given I've got an '09 SI, the brackets need modifying. Using only a drill, I would imagine it's pretty hard to slot a hole that's already there. Those of you that successfully opened the hole, how'd you do it? Also, did you guys touch up the new holes (trailing arm and brackets) with paint to prevent corrosion? Last edited by arcteryx; 06-19-2009 at 03:11 AM. |

although I now notice a fffffffffffffff sound coming from my ws2, I hope I didn't bump it or something during install and caused a leak. I didn't notice this sound though until I had the rear seats down and then after I removed the trunk lining. Too lazy to put the lining back to see if the sound disappears...*sigh*
