New Car Prices (Europe vs. America)

I can state that you Amercians are very lucky, because you can buy very good new cars for relatively small prices!

Let's take for instance Civic!
CIVIC Si sedan cost in the U.S. $21,290, while in Russia price for CIViC 4D 1,8 Exe A/T, which in fact has much fewer options, is $24,200...

If we talk about premium-class cars, then
BMW 330 (328) in the US costs $34,300 , while in Russia it costs $53000
Audi Q7 4,2 in the US starts from $50000, while in Russia from $110000

Yes, that's the point why we feel jealous))))

Prices in Canada are pretty high too... I think about 10-20% higher than US prices for the exact same car.

I paid CAD$31,000 for my Si coupe; people pay USD$22,000 (out the door)?

But Russians are still luckier than us Filipinos!

Yeah with the civic, we get it a bit cheaper.
1.8S (1.8EX equivalent but w/ less equipment) goes for $18,000
the 2.0S (same spec and engine as the Acura CSX) w/ climate control, HID, paddle shifters,leather etc goes for $25,000!!!

But when you start talking about premium cars, things start to change
BMW 330i sedan = US $34,300 ...... = Philippines $89,000 - 93,000

Audi Q7 US:$50,000 .......... = Philippines $108,000 (3.0TDI) - $163,000(4.2FSI)

Mercedes Benz S550L = US: around ~$90,000 = Philippines $237,000

BMW 760Li US: $122,600 - $150,000 = Philippines $338,000

so count your blessings guys!
