After install let the car idle for 15 minutes which begins the ECU adjustment period. Then, over a short period of driving, the ECU adjusts itself to the increase in air volume. I haven't had any check engine lights as of yet.

Nope, didn't have to replace any despite the fact that some leaked out. In fact, I checked the coolant level yesterday while car was cool and it was full. If you follow my DIY you will loose an insignificant amount of coolant. Good luck!

Fujita SRI Rubbs on radiator hose
With having the P2R TBS, TBG and the Fujita SRi installed - i noticed that the radiator hose was pressing on the Fujita intake tube (this has been questioned in topics before)
so i went over to napa auto parts and picked up this... ![]() ![]() btw, thanks for the DYI, made install a breeze! |

that was my previous post with former login name...anyway, finished my install of this. DYI made for a great checklist...thx again. Took about a 1/2 hour and really there's nothing to it. I had a CAI on my last civic and that was a bit more work...so this was like cutting cake.
Like others, I would recommend disconnecting the negative and letting your ECU recalculate air intake. Its just a wise step....and you can actually hear it making adjustments right after ignition. Cheers |

yup - my dealership gave me a car and put it in the cover to the service manual...
youll need that 4 digit code to get it working again. if you dont have the code then i would think call the dealership. |
