Where did you order from so we will all know where NOT to order from in the future?

Fujita emblem

One other thing: If you notice in some of the pics the Fujita emblem is upside down when you look at it from the front of the car. I just pulled it off and turned it around. It's attached with some double sided foam tape and came off and reattached real easy. Now it looks RIGHT.

This is a great DIY and the best I've seen for the Fujita. Great job!

Corsport but I mean its more Fujita's problem because Corsport orders directly from Fujita and Fujita ships it not Corsport. You can take that with a grain of salt but this is what Corsport explained to me.

OP, thanks for the DIY. I keep putting off doing the install, but I like to see this stuff just so I know I have something to fall back on when I inevitably get stuck. So thanks!

Cancel the order if you can and order from Ebay store "JDM In Stock". There name speaks for itself as all parts are guaranteed in stock.

Something about ordering from eBay...I could get a replica Fujita and Fujita isn't JDM anyway I believe.

Fujita isn't JDM just like 99% of after market products. I've ordered from Ebay dozens of times and have only had one bad experience. Vendors that have Ebay stores are particularly reliable because they have a business reputation to uphold and have a lot more to loose by ripping people instead of selling lots of product.

Good diy Fujita sri. I plan on getting one and the diy could be useful for me since I probably won't know what I'm doing.

Thanks, it's my first DIY posting. Fortunately you'd have to be very dim to not realize that you need to replace the MAF.
Why are you replacing the AEM?
I received my Fujita in 3 days. What's taking so long?

Wow, great DIY write-up OP! Thank you!

I'm curious about how to maintain the filter - do you just wash it and re-oil it when it gets dirty or do you have to buy a replacement filter?

From Fujita's website:

"Cleaning the air filter is simple and can be done using soapy, lukewarm water, and let air dry. The Super Flow High Performance Air Filter™ contains a synthetic fiber that does not contain any oil."

I'll probably do this every 15,000 miles which is the same maintenance interval that Honda recommends for replacing a stock air filter.

Sweet, that's exactly the info I was after. Thanks a lot Noyty!

No, I left the stock piece in the car. It's not doing any harm and if should ever need to go back to stock it'll be an easy switch.
