It's fine. It takes alot more to start a fire.

Look around on different honda parts sites. You can also get it at your dealership.

1. Take the cowl off.
2. Take off the metal piece under the cowl.
3. Take off the spark plug cover.
4. Unscrew the 2 screws on the right side of the valve cover
5. Take off all the bolts that hold the valve cover down (break them loose first before taking them completely off)
6. Remove the spark plug coil pack from the cover (don't sit on a hot header)
7. Pull off the cover.

and dont overtorque the bolts when you put it back on, the slightest bit of overtorque and they shear right off, not too expensive to replace but still sucks. i know from exp

I reused the old gasket when I installed my JDM valve cover. A honda mechanic who helped me with the install said since the car only has 15K on it, the gasket is still good. Its when the gasket is old, torn up and cracking that you replace it. I also used some silicon around the edge and 10K later, nothing is leaking and everything is perfect. (he told me if it ever starts leaking, he will come over and install a new one) I don't think that its gonna be an issue tho.

You can get a new gasket if you want, your choice.

Me too. I broke 2 of them. Use the smallest ratchet you have and just use your wrist and when it feels tight; stop. Alternate in a starlike pattern to get it to settle somewhat equally.

In the engine bay, it will get warmer, but you'll be fine as long as the hot-side isn't closer than an inch I would say.
It will smell when you bake it. Your entire kitchen and maybe more than that will smell like the paint somewhat, but it will subside as time progresses. If your wife is picky about stuff like that, do it when you have the day off and she has to work or is shopping. Maybe open the doors and light some inscents afterwards.
I didn't use a torque wrench and I broke two studs. I had to order them 8bucks a pop and tighten them just a little all around and let honda do it. I don't know what's wrong with me, but I break stuff very easily. People say it's b/c I'm big. I'm not sure if that's the problem or what, but the best of luck to ya. If you torque them down, use the smallest torque wrench you can buy and check with the dealership with what it should be at. I can't remember off the top of my head.

In that case, get a new gasket.
