I wouldn't mind doing them for people. I would just have to figure out a price. I would also have to order more paint and people would have to send me valve covers for me to get them done, I don't have extras.

Also, racecoated.com powdercoats them for really good prices. I would still do them though for people for small fees. I don't know if I could beat racecoated's price by much though.

Ha ha you painted my intake wrinkle black in like 40 degree weather and it turned out fine. But we wouldnt have known until after we saw how it came out from the oven. Should have done my valve cover while we were at it. Looks so f****** good.

It reminded me of doing yours at first b/c the paint didn't want to come out right away. It was really hard since I had to do it in an uncontrolled environment and I had two bugs go in it that I had to get out with the tweezers. Good thing that it's wrinkle or I would have been more pissed and would have to either buff it out or redo it. You should bring your valve cover with you when you come down here, lol. I will be starting school April 28th though.

The good thing about painting it is that you can bolt everything to it unlike the actual type r one.

Sounds like a plan, but I might look like some kind of freak trying to get a valve cover through air port security...

Starting school shouldn't disrupt anything since I'll be in San Antonio on the 6th of April.

BTW I have the intake on after I saw your dyno day results.

Would you mind posting pics of it under your hood? That is, everything's not too dirty? lol.

I will do it after I install my front lip and camber kit. I'll probably do another photoshoot like my lakeside one with Danny. It looks better now that I took the intake manifold cover off.

Maybe around 6 hours or so including bake time, sanding, prepping, painting, initial cleaning, and then in the end, there was 24 hours, but I don't count that.

No, I'm gonna buy a new one before I go to put it on. Also gonna get a black dipstick and such to complete the look.

Woohoo. I would have done that had I knew how to go about doing it. Are you gonna post it here or start a new thread?
