Quicks question.. Is this doable without cutting off the top of the lid from the MAF housing? For instance, doing it to the stock box whilst waiting for the filter/mounting bracket (whenever I would buy them). Seems it would be hard to file away the vanes with that lid still intact.

yea of course, but its a PITA to do it with the cover still attached.. its good for about 4-6WHP by just modding the vanes

So I just went to corsport's website. I don't see your intake. Are they not selling them yet? If not, do you know when?

i decided to do it myself. ordered some of the parts last night, the tube and maf housing. going to work on it slowly till its right. might get a dyno like some are reccomending.

but again, where is the photo that shows which side of the vane you file down?

thanks, but i can't tell the specifics and my job of drawing in paint isn't helping me to ask...so here goes....

do you file both sides of each vane or just one? outsides, insides or both?
and do you touch the back where it is cut out?

where is the angle, or do you make it angled on both edges, and do you flatten out the whole thing evenly after the angle and to what thickness?

i see that there is some cut out of the vane
