so, correct my confusion, the entire vanes get filed down in general(flat) or filed down at an angle?? btw, great vid on the diy.

^^^filed at an angle...as he stated you want them at a 4-5% angle...Think of the fins as knife blades...The one side sharp, the other side untouched...The 1st pic you posted shows exactly what I'm talking about. To clarify: you do NOT file both sides of the vanes!

Exactly! This was part of the point of this DIY...To show people X isn't "ripping anyone off"...Of course it was also done for the DIYers...those who have the patience, knowledge, and balls to do this themselves...

LOL...I just meant that it takes balls to mess with your AFR...Causing possible engine damage...X does these perfect, so this is not a concern...

thank you for the reply. i just read X's other thread about how you want about a 5 degree angle for the vanes. btw, has it been confirmed by X on how the v1 differs from the v2 in terms of how the vanes are modified???

He has not shared information on V2...I will not divulge this info either...If he wants to that's up to him...
