How far back does your angle go? Did you file down really thin? Or some what like a "planes wing".. Haha I cant really describe what I am trying to say..

So mine looks safe? I went and got the dyno today for $40 for fear of my engine "blowing up". I followed the DIY. Stuck the rubber piece that comes with the Spectre 2.5-3" coupler down in there and used this for leverage and angle. There will be an actual angle and slope, it's not a flat ramp all the way back, but an angle for 1/2" back or so.

do you have the apex filter? was it hard to put the spectre coupler on?

yes i have the apexi filter, yes it was a little bit of a biotch to put together, but it will go on....it looks at first like they are the same size and won't go together, but it will.

This man speaks the truth.. that coupler was hard as crap to get over the filter. But it finally goes. I'm hoping the coupler to MAF connection won't be as tough. I guess I'll find out later today. AFR's look great btw! Looks about 12.75 is the highest you get.

Just saw your numbers. What are your mods besides the intake? 187/141 isn't bad at all for just an intake.
