heres a comparison on the volume of the CR-V tube compared to the stock Si tube.
the CR-V is on the left.






data loggin with a vishnu XEDE shows that MAF voltages are kept very stable and almost i dentical to stock with the CRV tube. HONDA OEM for ya!

x you think it would be ok to leave the lower part of the air box in? you think the air would be any cooler ?

naw ive tested underhood temps and intake temps and the lower protion make no difference. a heat shield would be cool but really not necessary
