red run- AEM SRI, skunk2 70mm exhaust

blue run- AEM SRI, DCRH, DC exhaust, hondata img, hondata reflash

this is why i'm concerned about my afr. the DIY X intake may produce great power, however it may not be good for all setups. i will be bringing 2 different modded MAF housings with me. one from this DIY and one that's a lil more conservative on air flow. i'll be sure to post up the results for everyone to see...

you may be running lean b/c of the sri (X did so also w/ his fujita sri, that is assuming they're similar in how they affect the a/f ). if thats the case, then assuming similar a/f ratios to X's intake, your DIY intake should fix that fine giving similar a/f ratios (13-13.5) w/ more power than what you have now. Initaillly, i had thought you had a cai but i guess this makes sense.

So, once I install it and get my AFR checked, what AFR is normal and acceptable? Also, what happens if its not good? Is there some sort of fix?

w/ X's intake, i would assume your a/f should be around 13-13.5 and no higher.

Are you doing a DIY? If you're buying one from X there's no need for a dyno!

Yeah, I just finally got time at work and read the thread, I didn't realize the "dyno only if you DIY" part. Thanks!

fabricated my mount tonight. didn't use the same one as you X, but one of the stock mount locations. didn't have to remove my shifter cable. unfortunately i didn't have my damn camera with me. i'll be sure to get some pics next weekend at the dyno.

would there be anyway to use the filter from the fujita SRI on the modified MAF? It doesn't look like they attach in the same way. I would eventually step up to a better filter, but I would like to think that my whole SRI investment wasn't being flushed...
