Sweet. I bet you can't wait to use that sucker. I wouldn't be able to wait. I would bolt it up and drop the hammer. lol. the car is so much more fun with that GD thing. I STILL giggle like a little school girl when I wind through 1st 2nd and 3rd. And I've had this thing for almost 3 months.

I bet your AFR's will be fine. I saw your MAF housing when you were making it and the anlges are perfect. The ECU will compensate just fine. It's not like you're throwing 10 lbs of boost at it. lol. I think we are all being a little overconcerned about the AFR thing. I'm pretty sure that if the car was running too lean the wideband O2 sensor would pick it up and the ECU would throw a DTC for bank 1 too lean. That's my thoughts. If someone knows better please let me know.

I think it would be awsome to have a completly stock si race a completly stock si with x's intake from a roll, and from a dig to see how this intake performs in real life, insteed of just paper.

I know that but isn't the whole point of tuning a NA car to get it as lean as possible without it being dangerous? The ECU is programmed to throw a DTC when it gets dangerous. I've personally repaired problems from this code in the past. I actually did one last week on a V6 camry. It came up Bank 1 lean. And It was a leak at the brake booster vacuum line letting too much unmetered air in. It was picked up from the O2 sensor and I don't even think that it's a wideband like ours.

Looks like you're at around 13.5. Right? Isn't that perfect for an NA car? All cars are tuned to run rich from the factory for safety reasons. Actually for reasons like the Camry. If it was running at an AFR for higher HP like ours and the vacuum leak happened it would be very dangerously leanand would probably break after a short time. But the average idiot would run the car with the CEL on for a long time causing Catastophic damage. That's one of the reasons for the conservative factory tunes like ours. But if you want power from an NA motor you have to be willing to run AFR's close to the danger zone. Right?

I have a fujita sri and a comptech catback on my fg2 and I just installed the x intake on my wife's fa5 today. I think her car could beat mine with just the intake.

13.5 is a lil high for me. i'd like to see more like 13.1 yeah, pushing the afr's to the limits will get you more power but i'm willing to sacrifice 3 whp for a slightly lower afr. i take it you have no way to measure yours right?

Not yet. But I don't have any other bolt ons besides an IMG and a TB spacer. So I'm not too worried about my AFR's yet. But my next purchase will be a wideband AFR guage.

Yup. You're moving WAY more air than I am. But I will be adding a RH real soon. I just don't know which one to get for gods sake. I really can't afford the BCRH but it's just sooooo nice. And MA isn't the best state for not having a cat. I just don't think the Comptech header with a high flow cat would really give me that much more over stock. I just don't know what to do. I think my only option is the Vibrant with HFC.

WOW! what a ramble that was, huh?

I should go BC. I am a tech and have access to a lift and tools whenever I need them. I should they are mine. lol. So I don't have to worry about switching back to stock for state inspection. BCRH it is. Thanks Q, you made up my mind for me.

what kinds of mods do you have?? did the a/f ratio change this much just from the hondata reflash? if it did, does that not seem odd? these dynos were without your DIY X intake right? if so, the DIY intake might make it a bit too lean. im in for your dyno results w/ the intake. just dont know why your a/f is leaner than what i've seen before.
