Ya the rad hose that I got is great with the intake and spacer. As it doesnt touch the intake at all so no more heat soak from the rad hose pushing up against your intake. Works very well.
Check out Earl's flex rad hose .. come in red, blue, chrome, and black. They look good under the hood too. |

so call me a noob, but do i need to remove all the 4 studs, and replace them with the ones that came with the gasket?
so if this is the case the ones provided screw into the manifold and i dont need the nuts ne more? and will i need to replace the oem gasket, because when i got mine from a homie i only have one of those white gaskets? |

the stock gasket generally doesn't come off in one piece, you should definitely order another hi-temp gasket. ordering the stock gasket is going to be a waste of your money- it would be a little more for the hi temp gasket anyway. as for the studs, you're adding almost an inch in length, so you will have to replace all four studs. In order to complete the install, you will need 4 nuts and 4 washers in addition to the studs, spacer, and gaskets.

There is an area .. that has a hole drilled..but not all the way through. If you are running Nitrous you just need to drill out the remainder of that hole .. then if you dont want to use the Nitrous anymore you put the white plug in.
If your just going to use the spacer you dont need the plug. The older spacers came with the hole drilled all the way through .. so they would come with a plug incase your not running nitrous. But you dont need it. |
