Both of your recent posts have nothing to do with this thread. However, I sense sarcasm in GlxyGry06Si's OK comment, because you can click on thread tools at the top of the page and subscribe from there without making an unrelated post in a thread saying "subscribed". I just made a very unrelated post as well though....

Thanks, I really didn't know about the thread tool thing, but it was an excellent diy imo that's why i posted it. I also sense sarcasm from GlxyGry06Si's OK comment but if he wants to be a prick then so be it. I guess I have to verify with GlxyGry06Si first before I post anything with capital letters "YEAH RIGHT, I DON'T THINK SO". Oh well,I just added another unrelated post

The front-most bolt is the easiest. Seriously, run out to the nearest store to get some Vise-grips or some other knock off (if you already don't have one-- lost mine -- heheh -- around a 6" long or greater handle), and get that lower, far back, bolt broken off the manifold (not literally, just loosened). It does come off. The one diagonally is also on the manifold. All told, four bolts; the long ones P2R provides works fine to replace with the 13mm socket. Loosen it slowly a few turns at a time; you'll be able to use your fingers at some point.

Here's the generic vise on the first (easy) bolt:

uh so my bolt doesn't come off -_- is there other way i can take them off?

and do you just screw it before you put the spacere or what?

There is another piece of advise about threading two nuts on, then you use the inner nut as a bolt head and reverse it out. Let us know if this helps.

I've got some pictures on the way that might help lay these questions to rest...

put the nuts onto the stud like THIS:

and then, using something (my ratchet in this case) to hold the outer nut still, use something else (like a crescent wrench) to turn the other one. because the nut you are holding still will not move, this will cause the stud to move.

and finally, here's a shot of the plug in the spacer!

i took them off after using my aligator wrench and hammering against it.. idk, but my bolts were screwed in too hard.

everything looks good, but i'm worred about my injen CAI. the TB and the top of CAI piping are too close together, so it might not suck enough air in than before.

the "first generation" of spacers came with a brass screw- the newer ones come with plastic. simply screw it in until it is tight and cannot be screwed in any more.

Some people have left it pushed up against the radiator...some have gotten a longer radiator hose to replace the one that the CAI would be pushed up against...all depends on how you want to do it.
