What size of nut do you need for those studs?

Thanks, hope I've covered most everything.

Besides shutting off the engine and opening the hood... :P

Would one have to reset the ECu after this?

You should always reset the ECU after any bolt-on's.

Good question; I never did. So what's the procedure? Is it disconnect the battery, and then idle for 15 minutes? Again I ask for confirmation, is the four-digit code on the Honda online owner's website the code you input for the stereo?

Thanks!

Thanks!
1.) Disconnect negative (-) battery terminal.
2.) Depress brake pedal for 5 seconds to bleed residual charge.
3.) Reconnect battery.
4.) Start car and let it idle for awhile (5-10 minutes). I usually do this while I'm putting away tools and cleaning up.
5.) Drive away.

All I know is I have a little credit card sized card that has this code on it. Came in a bag with the owners manual.

I know, I had it with my other car paper-work which I can't locate. I do have the four digit number from the owner's online site; is it the same?

Thanks.

Sorry for the confusion. I have a navi version too, so I don't know squat about what's the radio code vs. the ECU code vs. XM... thanks for the help, all.

A brief explanation would be appreciated; and an answer to the card versus the online number and what those two are.... thanks! (I don't use the URL here at work so I can't really remember the pass/user/site address).

xm code...is displayed on channel 0 of teh radio when on
navi/radio code....is on a card that the dealer gave to you when you took delivery. radio will not turn on after battery is disconnected unless this code is put in. if the dealer setup your honda financial account online they also put the code there (same code as the card)
ecu code...no idea but you probobly never need it.

Thanks. It wasn't a financial online account (I can't get the two to 'link', if I recall); for me it was just an owner's online account to find parts, dealers, etc. Basically a site to keep someone employed.
