K&N filter install

Any trained moneky can do this in about 15 mins... here are some pics to help demonstrate the ease of which accomplished!

New K&N drop in filter

K&N next to stock

K20 airbox.. note the silver clips on the left and right sides

Undo said silver clips on left side

Undo said silver clips on right side

Don't forget these two bastards hiding in back

Once you've done that pull up on the airbox a bit, slide out the old filter and slide in the new filter. Remember to reclip all the silver clips in which ever order you feel comfortable with. Start engine and enjoy!!

I got it from (oddly enuff) Amazon.com for I think $35 plus shipping.

Haven't really noticed any difference in fuel economy, but I haven't been driving alot and I haven't had a full time since I installed it.

I just did a similar DIY today and my engine is cleaner, heh. Should I still post it in the DIY section of the forum?

15 minutes, shit I installed it today in like a min and the engine was still hot. It does sound alot better from stock. It might add 1-2 HP, but it is just supposed to make the car breathe even better then it already does.

Yeah, the pedal feels better. But I really didn't feel any difference in power.
