Also, should I drain all the coolant out and if so how much coolant is in there?

To verify the process of draining coolant is as follows:

Open radiator cap
Place bucket under car
open valve under radiator (white)
Let the coolant fall into the bucket
Close white valve
after w/ IMG install pour back the coolant back into the radiator
close the radiator cap

Am I correct?

Thanks

yeah, you'll need to run the car till the thermostat opens up and it flows through the motor, then add more coolant.

He means, after you finish the install and put coolant back in - start your car and let it idle for a while allowing the temperature to rise. This will allow the coolant to flow through the engine - then add a little bit more to top it off. Don't drive until you've done this.

my god. lol. thats a job, took me roughly 4 hours cause well... i kept coming inside and lookin at the DIY then i had to go buy an extension cause i didnt have one long enough. few breaks cause its hella hot.

oh and that stoopid hose. thanjks to the diy and everyones trials on it, i was able to get it off with ease lol. +1 for those who've struggled before me. jus get urself a needle nose clamped on the ends and pry with a flathead, comes pretty easy.

Honda Dealer is where I got mine. I'm fond of the blue coolant lol. and i drained mine until it didnt drip lol... to fill it took more than a gallon so id buy 2 gallons so you have more than enough.

Wait...why did you buy 2 gallons? Shouldn't you of just poured the same coolant that came out and then top it off with just a little bit of new coolant?

Why did you replace all the coolant w/ brand new coolant?
