Did it early today with my friend! Would have finished in under just 4 hours if it wasn't for the fact that i had to go pick up so coolant. Didn't take off the front portion or the fuel rail. just disconnected the injectors and unbolted the IM and unpluged most of the hoses and and connectors. This was a cake walk compared to changing the Turbo manifold and gasket on an evo.

well, the hardest part of this mod is getting the im off the damn block. and its actually harder to get it back on!! but its all good now. only thing left to do in the morning is putting back the brace, my cai, the battery, and then the bumper. hoping for some good gains.

im not sure how Q did this with that metal front brace still in place, it was a pita even with it off.

I did it with it on. No problem what so ever. But i can see where it might become a problem if your not use to working on a car with tight spaces

all finished up. to be honest ive read this diy online so many times before i didnt need to look it up at all during install. (except for when i almost gave up trying to take the im off) q assured us that a little elbow grease would get the pig off. and it did! cant wait for my next dyno run. thanks q!

Installed my new manifold, Hondata IMG, and P2R TB spacer and gaskets last night.

One question, have any of you guys replaced your studs with extended studs, or are you just using the OEM studs?

Hey Jordan, I don't think i'll run into any issues, I guess it's more a of a detail thing. and I figured I'd ask.

As for the manifold, its a full polished stock manifold. Stock internals for now, with the idea that it will be ported and polished once I have the supporting mods.
