DIY: Installation of YoSpeed Battery Tie

Tired of you ugly, stock, heavy, dirty, horsepower robbing battery tie?

Start by removing the two nuts:

Add the Vtec face:

Do some more stuff:

Ewww...stock:

Slide it on and tighten it up:

DONE:

other than adding horses to this baby...how much weight will you save by doing this? will this improve my 1/4 by a couple seconds??

awesome, didn't realize Home Depot sold custom-etched, painted and protection coated 6061-T6 billet aluminum which are precut to replace our stock battery tie downs perfectly. <endrunonsentencethattotallyownznoobcomment>

Sorry if this sounds stupid, but how do you take off that black plastic cap that's on one of the the things for the tiedown bar?
