I absolutely love the sound. DCRH + factory mid-section + magnaflow muffler with dual 3.5" tip. HOWEVER, I might add a bigger resonator in the mid-section because at 5800+ (VTEC) it gets race-car loud. A loud drone occurs as well at around 4k. Its not ricey nor raspy however.

Power is crazy. It feels now it wants to pull beyond redline. Before it seemed to die down at around 7800 ( where most power was made with a stock setup).

After my Hondata reflash, Hondata IMG, NST pulleys, TB spacer and 50hp ZEX I am going to dyno her. Stay tuned, it's all happening within the next month !

Should be 290hp ?

Your best bet is to start a new thread so people that know what to do can answer that question. Don't drive with missing bolts; you can damage your engine if it leaks at the head. :)

i like the advice he gave you. dont drive it,when in doubt go without. honda has the bolts you need. they cant be too much money, hell you just bought the dcrh. have a friend drive you up. on my old honda i overtightened a bolt on the header and i was fine. you want a new gasket so you have no leaks. i wish you the best of luck. take care of your honda bc, more importantly you want it to take care of you.
i am going to buy the dcrh and get a defouler. hopefully can find a greddy ti-c. excellerate the site sponsor has a few in stock. they are selling me my dcrh for 375 next day shipped... i am inthused about the full exhaust but want to install the defouler properly... i hope my install goes well, the life of my honda depends on it. plus i live in missouri and need to pass emissions. good luck with your bolts. and thanks for the insight.

its about 20 minutes north of little rock. there are no emissions in ar. i am in the military and the car is registered in nc. i have a hook up and wont have to worry about the emissions part. i am down for a meeting. we have a few si's down here. definatly get the header. the butt dyno registered so go for it.

a butt dyno is just what my ass feels when i step on the gas. it just means that i can feel a difference when i put the header on.my friend that was following me said that i pulled a lot harder. i am always very slow to say that a part did a lot because i dont want to be "that guy" that always boasts that his car is really fast. i can feel a difference and its definatly worth the price. also i just got the tanabe medallion exhaust. they both compliment each other very well. a good buy except for a rattle i have. its metal on metal and i dont know what it is

start making friends with instpecton places. also find a friend in your town with the same car that has nothing done to it and if you have to have it done your friend can have his car get hooked up the reader. bingo you pass.

I don't know how it works, but I'm sure they check vin numbers. So I'm doubting that Idea will work.
