anyone ever hear of headers consuming more gas?i dont believe it, i was about to switch back to stock, but now rethinking of how the intake headers exhaust works it doesnt make sense, but 2 people have said this (including the service advisor at my dealership) any info on this?

Yes it uses more gas because having a less restrictive exhaust alows more air to be sucked in & more air equals more fuel being burned

no you cant. well the gasket, use the stock one from the engine block, the cheap flimsy metal one. as far as bolts..... go to home depot or somewhere. i went to true value, they are more of a family store with less hassle.
your in luck buddy cuz i just went yesterday because one bolt came off, the size is 10 by 1.25 thats for the bolt, the nut is 1.25 but dont know the first number. they look like this: the bolt was 1.75

thank you so much yesterday i went back to stock, surprisingly enough it took me less than 3 hrs. i had to go to visit my neighbor for a vice grip for the 02 sensors. my car sounds deeper, and i can soooo tell the restrectiveness of the cat.

you only need 1.5 or 1.75. Length wont matter if they are long. Be sure to get lock washers also.
