I don't know if they helped but I'm sure. For some reason the longer I have my car the better the gas mileage I've gotten. I think the best so far was 37mpg the last tank or two. Before then was 32 mpg, and before that somewhere in the mid-twenties.

Just over 30,000 miles and still breaking in I guess..

^ Oh badass dude! What's it like there?

I'm sure there's gotta be a few places around there that still look the same from the 60's...

but yea, some people are def stuck in the 60's, theres got to be like 100 used clothing stores on haight, and like 5000 head shops...

nice nice. I average around 36. The best tank I got was 37.68. But I dont think my RPM's went over 2400 the whole tank, it was hard to drive that slow lol.

Why do you think that the headers caused your mpg to drop? U'd think it shouldnt affect it because it just frees up the exhaust system a little?

Stupid freaking crank pulley bolt!!!!!!

Helping 90and90 out today with his install, everything was going smoothly till we tried the crank, a freaking 400 ft/lb electric impact gun could even budge the bolt, we even dumped a bottle of penetrating lube with no luck.

Another tip, when removing the alt. pulley you can use the stock drive belt to hold it into place.

i did mine on 4 jack stands and 2 low profile jacks. me and 1 of my friends used a huge breaker bar and pull the shit outta it until we heard it pull loose, and then we tightened it until we got tired. have had mine now for about a month or 2 and its still running fine
